Attention Band/Music Students - Grades 9-12
The North Suburban Concert Band (NSCB) has traditionally offered two to three scholarships each year to deserving students in a music program playing a wind or percussion instrument. The 2012 scholarships will be awarded in March and winners may be requested to perform at our Annual Pops Concert on Sunday April 22 at the Courtyards of Andover.
The scholarships will be $400-600 each and awarded to both a senior and underclassman. A minimum of one scholarship will be for students in grades 9-11 for the purpose of helping to fund the costs for such things as music camps, youth music organizations or private lessons. The scholarships for graduating seniors are designated for the continuation of his or her pursuit of music.
